A Note on Gifts...

Dear friends and family,

We feel incredibly blessed to be starting our lives together in careers we truly love. We are so lucky to have work that we enjoy, and we are even luckier that it has allowed us to build such a beautiful life together over the past few years.

Because we know our wedding weekend coincides with Oktoberfest in La Crosse and Cranberryfest in Warrens, we are mindful that travel and lodging are more expensive than usual. Because you have already invested so much time and effort just to be here with us, we want to encourage: No gifts, please!

What we want most is for our guests to be fully present and enjoy the day with us. We want you to relax, let go of the daily grind, spend some time in the fresh air, put your toes in the grass, put your phones down, and have fun! Truly, we are focused on making memories on what we know will be the best day of our lives.

If you are looking to give us a little something extra, we’d love for you to help us make memories instead of adding to our kitchen cabinets. We’d cherish a hilarious move on the dance floor, a shared Cosmo at the bar, or a heartfelt note detailing how much fun you had. These are the kinds of moments that will stay with us long after the towels have worn out!

We will have a card box available and would love for each of you to drop us a note. Whether it’s a favorite memory you’ve shared with us, a piece of marriage advice, a fun date night idea, or a hidden gem we should travel to, we want to hear from you. Please remember that we truly don’t expect anything from you other than your presence and your company—we just want you to arrive ready to have a blast!

We love and cherish you all,

-Madalyn and Niko
